I count myself fairly lucky.

This year, I’ve had the pleasure of being on the road for nearly the entire NCAA basketball tournament, same for the Super Bowl (I did that on purpose), and same for last years World Series.

Around my office, if it’s not baseball, basketball or football, it’s golf or just general ‘did you hear what they said on {random sports talk show}.

It’s brutal.

So now, baseball season is here.  It will be over in 20 months from now after the teams play 2,300 games each.  The nice thing about baseball season is that after the first few weeks, the Royals are so far behind in ‘the standings’ (as they call it), most of the talk stops.
